TOMMS in Konsortium ABASS Sdn Bhd

02/01/2012
The Sungai Semenyih Water Supply Scheme implemented by the Selangor State Government supplies clean water to South-West of Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Sepang, Puchong, Seri Kembangan, Bandar Baru Bangi, Kuala Langat and the surrounding areas. In the year 2001, Konsortium ABASS Sdn Bhd was awarded a 30 years concession to operate and maintain the Sungai Semenyih Scheme.
Konsortium ABASS replace their old systems with TOMMS (EAM) because they wanted a total integrated system whereby TOMMS have API interfaces  their ABASS Financial Systems. Before TOMMS, they have a number of isolated systems and currently they only have 1 system for maintenance and financial.  In addition, it is hosted over the internet with connectivity from anywhere  over the internet with any terminal with a browser. ABASS management can now have all the information on their miantenance operation for the plant in Semenyih via TOMMS (EAM) in their HQ and process any approval from anywhere over the internet in order to improve efficiency in their maintenance.
